Transportation

Municipal public transport

The city of Cracow operates a public transport system consisting of buses and trams. The areas serviced by the public transit is divided into three zones, where the first zone includes the whole city and the rest includes the peripheries. The price can be reduced by half for holders of Polish or international student ID cards (ISIC). The transit system works around the clock, with day lines operating from 4 am to 11 pm and night lines the remaining time. Using the public transport system it takes about 40 minutes to get from the airport to the hotel and about 35 minutes to get there from the main train station.

Taxi services

For the situations where the public transit is inadequate, one can order a private ride using Uber or Bolt, as well as a traditional taxi service. The prices for rides can range from 20-40 PLN (€5-€10).
