ICPS 2027

The International Conference of Physics Students (ICPS) is the world’s largest annual conference for physics students, bringing together undergraduate, master’s, PhD students, and young researchers from around the globe. Organized under the auspices of the International Association of Physics Students (IAPS), ICPS has been fostering international collaboration, scientific exchange, and cultural understanding since 1986.

The 40th International Conference of Physics Students will take place in Kraków, Poland, from 1–8 August 2027, welcoming approximately 500 participants from over 50 countries. The conference will feature plenary lectures by internationally renowned scientists, student oral and poster sessions, workshops, laboratory visits, industrial exhibitions, and networking events designed to connect the next generation of physicists.

Beyond its scientific programme, ICPS provides a unique opportunity to build international friendships, exchange ideas across disciplines, and discover the rich culture and scientific heritage of the host country. The conference promotes excellence in research, innovation, diversity, and international cooperation, inspiring young physicists to shape the future of science.

ICPS 2027 is organized by the Polish Association of Physics Students (PSSF) in cooperation with the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science of the Jagiellonian University, under the auspices of the International Association of Physics Students (IAPS).The International Conference of Physics Students (ICPS) is the world’s largest annual conference for physics students, bringing together undergraduate, master’s, PhD students, and young researchers from around the globe.
